1. Introduction

Welcome to Virtouzo ("we", "our", "us"). By accessing or using virtouzo.com and any associated services (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Virtouzo is an adaptive learning platform that provides personalised study roadmaps, AI-powered question generation, practice sessions with instant feedback, and progress tracking across multiple subjects and curricula.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. If you are under 18 years old, you must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Account Registration

To access certain features you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

5. Subscription Plans & Billing

Virtouzo offers the following tiers:

• Starter (Free) — limited daily practice questions and check-points.
• Virtouzo+ — unlimited practice sessions, advanced AI feedback, and mastery tracking.
• Virtouzo Exam Ready — everything in Virtouzo+ plus a full exam simulator with timed sessions and dynamic diagram generation.

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge the applicable fee to your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. All fees are in USD and are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting us at hello@virtouzo.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to paid features until then.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
• Copy, redistribute, or sell any content, questions, or solutions provided by the Service.
• Share questions or solutions with others during exams or formal assessments.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access the Service.
• Interfere with the security or integrity of the Service.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the Service — including questions, explanations, diagrams, roadmaps, UI design, and underlying algorithms — is owned by Virtouzo or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any Service content without our written permission.

9. AI-Generated Content

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence to generate questions, feedback, and explanations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors. The Service is intended as a study aid and should not be relied upon as the sole source of academic truth.

10. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Availability & Modifications

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Virtouzo and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that is harmful to other users or the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New South Wales, Australia.
